New Bitcoin Address Format
We are excited to let you know that we are in the process of transitioning to a new Bitcoin address format. This enhanced address format provides numerous benefits, including increased security and lower transaction costs. As such, we need existing Bitcoin customers to regenerate these addresses by 22 September 2023.
It is vital that you regenerate the deposit addresses by this date because after this deadline any deposits made to old addresses will not be credited. In this case, it will only be possible to refund these deposits which may incur penalties. To avoid this inconvenience, we kindly ask that you regenerate these addresses before this date.
Upcoming Asset Address Changes
Following on from the Bitcoin changes, we are initiating a process to change deposit addresses of a number of other assets. This update is aimed at harnessing cutting-edge technology and storage solutions to elevate your experience with us.
We kindly request all existing customers that use these assets to regenerate deposit addresses for the following assets before 27th October 2023.
- VET
- MATIC (Polygon)
- AVAX-X
- DOT (Polkadot)
Required Steps
To facilitate a seamless transition, please follow these steps:
- Log in to your XGo Plus account
- Navigate to Account
- Identify the specified assets and click on the “Deposit” button
- Finally, click on “Create new” to regenerate your deposit address
Urgent Deadline
It's important to note that deposits made to old addresses after 22nd September 2023 for Bitcoin and 27th October 2023 for all the other mentioned assets, will be subject to penalties. Refunds in such cases will only be granted upon request. To avert any inconveniences, we strongly recommend completing the address regeneration process before this deadline.
