Adding a new address to the Whitelist
A whitelist is an additional security measure aimed at protecting your trading and your funds by creating a secure list of withdrawal addresses. By setting and confirming the whitelist of addresses for cryptocurrency withdrawals, you agree that the withdrawal of the funds will be limited to these addresses only.
To turn it on, go to the top right corner of your screen. Click on the settings icon.
Click on “Enable Whitelist”
Then click on “Add New”
Here is where you can choose your currency, name and address. Click “Confirm” to add it to your whitelist.
If you can't add a new address to the whitelist, make sure the address is relevant for the cryptocurrency.
Then check, if attempting to set up an address on the Bitcoin network, that the address is not Segwit (Segregated Witness). At the moment XGo doesn't support Segwit addresses, but this will be updated soon.
You will receive an email with the confirmation link, available for 10 minutes. Click on it and you are good to go!
Note: If you ever receive an email with a confirmation link for any action related to Whitelist, and you haven't recently initiated this, don’t worry. We’d still have 48 hours to check this activity and stop any potential hackers who are trying to get into your account.
